Project details

The Africa Roundtable is an initiative of Kabissa to organize events to bring together people with a mutual interest in Africa for networking and to learn from featured speakers. Roundtable events connect people in a room with remote participants joining in via video conference, and are recorded and put online for later viewing.

Africa Roundtable is happy to announce September 2013 event. Featured speakers are;
  • David Ndiwanyu from African Achievers Awards (AfIA), the largest philanthropic awards ceremony of, by and about Africa, celebrating the greatest charitable achievements by non-profit organizations, socially conscious businesses, and individuals worldwide. David will be speaking on Change Makers and Youth development in Africa.

  • Viola Krebs from ICVolunteers (ICV), a non-profit organization which works in the field of communication (languages, information and communication technologies and conferences). Viola will be speaking on their experience related to the use of technology in rural areas of West Africa (Mali, Senegal) and their plan to expand to other African countries.

The event will be on Skype on 18th September 2013 at 18:00 UTC/GMT +2 .
