Project details

The Montessori Model United Nations (“MMUNâ€) is a not for profit organization that supports the work of the United Nations through the introduction of a Peace Curriculum into schools and the conducting of student-led conferences that address the issues then currently before the United Nations. It gives the opportunity to elementary and middle school students to understand and discuss international matters. For a short while the future of our planet is in the hand of young minds.

MMUN is the largest of the Model UN programs for students 9-16 years of age and has been conducting teacher workshops and Model UN conferences in collaboration with governments, NGOs and United Nations Agencies since 2004.

Reunited in the CICG in Geneva, ICVolunteers will assist the organizers by providing consecutive interpretation. Young interpreters will offer interpretation from English to French and vice versa.
