Events taking place on that day include a 5km Fun Walk/Run, Baby Competition, Break Dancing Competition, "Come and Play", Street Soccker, local performing artists and more. There were also vendor stalls on the day. Role of ICVolunteersICVolunteers in Cape Town recruited a coordinator for the Down Syndrome Association First Fun Walk and the Volunteer Centre mobilized volunteers for the event.
