![]() I am an interpreter based in Edinburgh, Scotland. I interpret for German, Czech and French, usually for the Council, Inland revenue, Dept for work and pension, sometimes for GPs, prisons, the border agency etc etc. My interests are music (classical and world-music), I sing in 3 choirs, I like walking, swimming (sea or lake), I like children, and I have also worked with the elderly and adults with special needs. I don't know how to upload anything, sorry !! — Alexandra, United Kingdom ![]() Every year hundreds of people volunteer their time and talent and I guess its time for me to join in the bandwagon! I am more than happy to be a part of ICVolunteers in any what way to the best of my ability. I am from Nepal and have experience in administration for more than 15 years and my recent past 5 years have been being involved and working for the United Nations in The Hague. Anu Baidya, France. — ANU, France ![]() I just graduated from medical school a few months ago, and I am about to begin my residency in November. Because of the long hours that my work requires, I don't have much free time to do any physical volunteering work so I am looking to help out in any way I possibly can. I love to read (and not in a casual way — LOVE in capital letters), I write when I can, I'm a huge movie and TV show enthusiast, and I am very active in human rights, especially for women, the LGBT+ community, and racial minorities. I am also an animal lover, and plan on adopting rescue animals as soon as I have a large enough space of my own. — Cecilia, France |
