Admin/Coordination Internship 

ICVolunteers is an international non-profit organization specialized in the field of communications, in particular languages, communication technologies and conference support. Through volunteer effort, we cooperate with organizations in the humanitarian, social, environmental and medical fields to implement projects and conferences at local, national and international levels.

ICV is looking for motivated interns to join its current Administration/Coordination Team. It is a unique opportunity for young professionals to gain experience in recruitment and team coordination. After their internships at ICV, many interns have gone on to work in the International Organizations for example GAVI, UNICEF, UNISDR to name a few, as well as local and international NGOs

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in all phases of the recruitment process of volunteers
  • Coordinate a team of volunteers during conference(s)
  • Carry out other agreed tasks and projects as required
  • Maintain the confidentiality of information received
  • Record proceedings of meetings and events

Skills: 

  • Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent general IT literacy
  • Proactive in identifying problems and carrying out solutions
  • Able to coordinate tasks within teams and complete assignments with minimal supervision
  • Previous experience in recruitment will be to your advantage

Job Duration: 4-6 months 

Immediately available

The intern position is located in Geneva, Switzerland.

This is a non-remunerated internship on a part time basis, 30 hours per week.
